this amp has had all the caps replaced, the parts and board were cleaned and everything else torture tested. this amp will run a complete modest system with great clarity. i have seen other people make these amps look new with a great polishing job. this one needs polishing and it would look excellent. one of these sold without being refurbished for 999.99 last month. i brighten some of my photos to show all flaws. this auction is for a rare, refurbished, soundstream the continuum amp which is the same as the reference 705s. LAYING CAPS DOWN IS NOT BAD FOR YOUR AMPS. FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T SEE, THE CAPS HAVE SILICON UNDER THEM TO HOLD THEM. Retailed for $1500 and roughly a 1000 were made. The Continuum and the Reference 705 share the exact same board with only a minor difference. The Continuum is a special/limited edition amplifier released in 1996.
